How to Do Business with the Monroe MUA


The Purchasing Department procures all goods, services and construction contracts for the Monroe Municipal Utilities Authority. Purchases are made under the New Jersey State Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1 et seq. to provide a fair and equal treatment for all vendors doing business with the Monroe Municipal Utilities Authority.

The rules and regulations are intended to maximize the purchasing value of public funds and maintain a procurement system of equality and integrity.

Monroe Municipal Utilities Authority participates in the following contracts or National Co-Op Suppliers:

State Contracts – New Jersey State Contract Vendors (NJSC)

Nationally Approved Cooperative Purchasing Contracts – Houston-Galveston Area Council Vendors (HGAC-Buy) and Sourcewell Cooperative Purchasing Program
